How was the research conducted?
In early 2011, Ecofys and IDS undertook a three step process, which included a survey of users of climate and development planning tools, interviews with policy-makers in developing countries, and consultations with tool developers from across Africa, Asia and latin America.
As a result of this process, the project team have produced an analytical report, scientific article, and this user friendly guide.
